FAQs & safety
We encourage our guests to purchase Island Waterpark tickets in advance on the website. For same-day tickets, guests can purchase tickets via mobile device, ticket kiosk, or admission desk. All purchases must be made by credit card unless pre-approved.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a supervising companion. All rides have posted age and height requirements at the entry to the queue line. A supervising companion must be at least 16 years of age and have the ability to assist the child in complying with instructions. Guests under 36” may enjoy the Island Drift Lazy River, Kidz Zone, and Adventure Pool. Guests between 42” and 48” may enjoy the Wild Wave FlowRider (Bodyboard Only), Electric Eel, Barracuda Blaster, Sonic Serpent, Island Drift Lazy River, Slide Island, Adventure Pool, Kidz Zone, Tidal Racers. Guests 48” or taller can enjoy all of the rides/slides/activities. Guests 21+ may enjoy Paradise Adult Island and Bliss Pool.
Island Waterpark has a tropical temperature of over 80°F all year long.
Island Waterpark is an experiential park and therefore we do not offer a discount for those who choose not to swim.
No, we have many rides and slides that don’t require strong swimming abilities. However, we do recommend that anyone under 48 inches wear a lifejacket while swimming in the Island Drift Lazy River and Adventure Pool.
Yes, up until 4pm you may re-enter the park however many times you like with a valid wristband. If you should misplace your wristband, re-entry will be denied.
Medical devices are permitted in Island Waterpark. Please note, any loose article may not be brought onto a ride or slide. In addition, Island Waterpark is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Island Waterpark prohibits smoking and vaping. You are more than welcome to smoke at our designated smoking areas located outside the park.
Yes, if you need First Aid, please see any team member, or visit our First Aid location within the park.
Proper swim attire is required. No denim, pants, wetsuits, or transparent clothing are permitted. Swim attire with metal buttons, buckles, rivets, zippers, or sharp objects are not permitted on any slide or attraction. Other swim attire (swim shirts, sun protective clothing, etc.) specifically designed for aquatic use is permitted – please speak with an Aquatics Supervisor. We reserve the right to determine the appropriateness of swim attire.
We encourage all guests to bring their own towel. Towels are available for purchase at our Towel Station or one of our retail shops throughout the park.
Guests are welcome to wear footwear throughout the park (flip flops, sandals, water socks, etc.). Guests will need to remove any type of footwear on most attractions. Outside footwear (shoes, sneakers, boots, etc.) are not permitted.
You are welcome to browse and purchase swimsuits, sunscreen, and swim accessories at one of our retail shops on property.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in Island Waterpark. Exceptions to this policy are made for baby food (no glass containers) and formula and for guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies. Light refreshments, snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Please see one of the Guest Service Associates prior to entering the park.
Guests visiting Island Waterpark may bring in one sealed non-glass water bottle per person.
No loose articles may be taken on any ride and should be left with a non-rider or inside a locker. Loose articles are considered jewelry, cell phones, glasses, etc.
Guests may photograph or take video of their visit to Island Waterpark for private use only. Recording devices (cell phones, GoPro cameras, etc.) are not permitted on waterslides/attractions, inside pools, or within any changing facility.
Personal bags and backpacks are permitted to enter Island Waterpark. All bags and backpacks are subject to search prior to entering. The following items are not permitted: weapons of any kind, props/toys resembling a weapon, masks that cover the face, glass bottles, selfie sticks.
Pets are not permitted to enter Island Waterpark. Service animals are welcome. Service animals are limited to dogs and miniature horses and must always remain on a leash or harness – unless the leash or harness interferes with the service the animal is providing, or the handler is unable to use the leash or harness due to the nature of the disability. Guests must be in control of the service animal at all times and are responsible for its behavior and clean-up.
